Early autumn wedding at Milntown

Milntown is one of my most favourite places to photograph a wedding in on the Isle of Man and early autumn is a great time for a wedding here! The gardens were absolutely magnificent! They were full of autumnal flowers, whilst the weather was still warm and pleasant.

Charlotte and Connor’s wedding was everything a wedding photographer could want! The weather was perfect, an amazing and fun bride and groom, a beautiful venue, a great atmosphere and delicious food!

Charlotte got ready in Milntown Estate in the morning, before we all headed off to the Bride Church for their ceremony. It was probably the most that I have ever seen bride and groom laugh during a wedding ceremony! Being able to laugh together with the person you are spending your life with is an important thing!

As their wedding reception was in the beautiful Milntown gardens, looking magnificent in their early autumn glory, the couple didn’t want to go anywhere else for their photos. And I was more than happy to photograph them in the gardens! It also meant that they could just take 10-20 minutes away from their guests for their own photos. And therefore, spend as much time as possible with all the lovely and important family and friends that had come for their wedding.

They ended the night with a ceilidh, which I think every wedding should do! I love photographing wedding that have ceilidh bands as they are sure to get people dancing and having tons of fun! Which looks amazing in photographs!

To Charlotte and Connor, thank you so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer! I had an amazing time capturing your wedding!

And thank you to Luke from Timeframe Photography for being my second shooter at Charlotte and Connor’s wedding!
